Wedding PREPARATION Guide
Working with ANDRO
Welcome to your complete guide for a seamless and unforgettable wedding photography experience. From your first inquiry to the final gallery, every step is designed to ensure your photos and films feel intentional, effortless, and timeless.
The Process
The Vision Call
Once your inquiry is received, we’ll schedule a Vision Call to connect personally and discuss your story, your venue, and the emotions you want your imagery to evoke. This is where we align on your aesthetic direction, whether it’s timeless and classic or editorial and cinematic. You’ll receive a custom proposal tailored to your celebration following this call.
Custom Proposal & Booking
You’ll receive a personalized proposal tailored to your wedding day. Once the contract is signed and the retainer is received, your date is officially reserved.
Style & Setting Session
This consultation helps refine the creative direction for your photos and films. We’ll explore wardrobe guidance, location inspiration, lighting considerations, and the overall atmosphere you want to create. If you’ve booked an engagement session, we’ll plan that experience during this phase to match your wedding’s aesthetic.
Timeline Blueprint
A smooth wedding day begins with thoughtful timing. In this stage, we’ll collaborate with your planner to design a detailed photography timeline—aligning key events with the best natural light and ensuring there’s space for spontaneity. We’ll also discuss family photo groupings and any must-have moments to ensure nothing is missed.
Engagement Session (Optional)
This session is a beautiful opportunity for us to connect before the wedding. It helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera and provides editorial-style imagery for your save-the-dates or wedding website.
The Final Touch
About 2–3 weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a final check-in to confirm all details.
We’ll review logistics, vendor coordination, shot lists for family portraits, ceremony, bride and groom portrait session planning and special requests, so when the day arrives, you can relax knowing everything is prepared to perfection.
The Wedding Day
With your timeline in place, you can focus on being present while I document your story with artistry and care.

Wedding Day Timeline
Every wedding is unique, but here’s a framework designed to help you visualize a seamless day and understand how we approach each part of your story with artistry and purpose.=
Preparation
Coverage begins 2–3 hours before the ceremony.
2-3 hours dedicated to luminous, editorial-style prep portraits.
Details are photographed first: invitations, rings, shoes, perfume, and heirlooms.
Candid moments during hair, makeup, and first look with family or bridal party.
Ceremony
The heart of your day — captured with discretion and emotion.
I document the atmosphere, guest reactions, and genuine moments of connection as you exchange vows. The ceremony is photographed with multiple perspectives to preserve both the grandeur and intimacy of the moment. Immediate post-ceremony portraits with family and the newlyweds.
Portraits
After the ceremony, we set aside 2 hours dedicated for the couple’s portrait session.
This is where artistry and emotion intertwine — soft direction, cinematic movement, and a focus on authentic connection. We’ll often schedule this session to overlap with golden hour, when light feels warm, romantic, and painterly.
Reception
As the evening transitions into celebration, 2 hours before the doors open, we’ll create refined reception portraits with the couple, bridal party, and family that capture the ambiance of your design, the glow of candlelight, and the emotion of the night.
These images blend editorial lighting with candid storytelling — perfect for documenting your first dances, toasts, and those moments that define your celebration.
Send Off
We’ll close the evening with your grand exit or final dance — a cinematic finale to your wedding story.
